Jim Wilson is a principal of Wilson, Dawson & Brett. He concentrates his practice on corporate and estate planning matters for small companies and families of significant net worth. Jim joined the firm after serving as General Counsel for nearly a decade at one of the largest US insurance and financial institutions where he also managed numerous business units within the corporation. Jim brings his business insight and expertise in managing all legal aspects of a large company to his corporate and individual clients in providing advice on strategic and other planning opportunities. Jim received his undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross and his Juris Doctor and Master of Law in taxation from Boston University School of Law.
